THE FALL OF THE
HOUSE
OF ABERCORN
Written by Kirby Frazer

Three weary archaeologists find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere - on a foggy moor. They stumble across an old house, and decide to spend the night, enter Abercorn House.....

If you're a fan of dark, spooky tales, then you'll love this. It wouldn't be out of place in the Brian Clemence series "THRILLER" from the '70's. But it's also got plenty to offer the avid Dr.Who fan as well, with Colin Baker playing a Doctor type character - he even gets called "Professor" by his two young companions [played by Dee Sadler and Charlie Ross]

The characters in Abercorn House are well rounded, three dimensional and you feel that you know the characters really well. Excellent perfomances by Dee Sadler, Colin Baker and Deborah Watling as well as Stewart Angelinetta - who I've not come across before, but he puts in a very convincing performance.
The story really does conjour up a very big, old, creepy house in your imagination. And you feel like you're actually there, living the terror.

You really should buy this CD, listen to it last thing at night, with the lights off, and scare the living daylights out of yourself!

"I loved the way the atmosphere changed from humourous to tense so smoothly. The characters were totally believeable and I loved the way Poppy and Alec bounced off each other. I had to laugh out loud when I heard Charlie Ross enjoying the thought of Goth girls full of lace and angst. A fantastic cast, great production and brilliant music made this a late night treat." Phil Hogarth

"such a well written story dramatised by a fantastic balanced cast and characters breathes life into a drama on a whole new level giving such realism a performance." Daniel Needham
